More Jeffrey Epstein-related graffiti showed up on The New School’s Kerrey Hall as of 11:02 p.m. on Feb. 17, the second graffiti occurrence in a week.

The latest graffiti had “Kerrey” — printed on the side of the building — crossed out in red marker with “Epstein” written beneath it, surrounded by taped-up printouts of email exchanges between convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and former university President Bob Kerrey.

The graffiti follows a similar incident on Feb. 10, when “Epstein Hall” was spray-painted in orange letters outside Kerrey Hall. The same group of individuals was responsible for both incidents, according to a person claiming responsibility for the graffiti.

University communications did not reply to a request for comment by the time of publication.

The graffiti incidents come amid recent revelations that Kerrey exchanged emails with Epstein and arranged to meet with him at least five times throughout 2013 and 2014, following the U.S. Department of Justice’s released tranche of files about the disgraced financier.

A video shared to Instagram earlier on Feb. 17 by @sunrisecolumbia, @dear_white_staffers, and @tns.sjp features footage and additional information about the Feb. 10 graffiti incident.

Text in the video reads, “Bob Kerrey is honored by New School,” “remove his name,” and “protect the truth.”

New School Students for Justice in Palestine declined a request for comment from the New School Free Press. Columbia Sunrise Movement did not reply to a request for comment by the time of publication.

The video also features clips of gloved hands holding a letter followed by the letter being taped to the entrance of Kerrey Hall along with the graffiti on Feb. 10.

Photo of a letter that reads: “Dear New School Administration, We believe that Bob Kerrey's name should be removed from The New School. The Department of Justice documents show kerry maintained a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein after he became a convicted sex offender. The school allowed Epstein to finance the education of multiple students that Epstein was exploiting, using tuition as lure. Continuing to honor Kerrey signals that Financial relationships were placed above the protection of the students and ethical responsibility.” An orange pen is placed near the text on the paper.

A photo of the letter’s content, which was taken down along with the graffiti the same night, Feb. 10, was provided to the New School Free Press by the person claiming responsibility for the graffiti. The letter was an open letter to TNS administrators.

“We believe that Bob Kerrey’s name should be removed from The New School. The Department of Justice documents show Kerrey maintained a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein after he became a convicted sex offender,” the letter said. The letter also claimed that the university allowed Epstein to exploit multiple TNS students by paying their tuition.

At the time of publication, the New School Free Press is still investigating the tuition payments and has not confirmed whether TNS employees involved with the transactions knew about Epstein’s 2008 conviction or helped him with any exploitation.
