Today – November 8th

Enjoy a delicious, election-themed ice cream sundae at this iconic NYC eatery, known for their elaborate dessert menu. The Donald Trump ‘Make America Great Again’ sundae is a big slice of apple pie, with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce, topped with a large mountain of whipped cream. On top of the mountain flies an American flag with a wall of chocolate surrounding it. The Hillary Clinton ‘I’m with HER’ sundae is a slice of creme de la creme cheesecake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream covered in hot fudge and Aunt Buba’s Sand Tarts, with an American flag atop a massive dollop of whipped cream.

The sundaes are huge, both physically and with their $17.50 price tag. Each sundae will come with a ballot to cast your vote for your favorite treat!

Tuesday, November 8 at 8:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Ring in the end of the election season with democracy-themed cocktails at the Village Pourhouse! This East Village bar will be serving up it’s Donald Drumpf and Secret Server cocktails for $8 all night, there will also be Trump and Clinton pinatas filled with fun, grown-up prizes. Don’t be surprised when you crack open the pinata and tanning salon gift certificates and Trump/Clinton masks come spilling out.

It’s finally over election central viewing and “whine” party.

Tuesday, November 8 at 6:00 to 11:00 p.m.

This whole campaign season has just been a bunch of WHINING, now it’s all about to be over and it’s time to suck it up and throw down some drinks. It doesn’t matter what party to belong to, everyone can agree to celebrate that campaigning is over! Doors open at 6:00 and CNN election coverage will be shown on 25 different monitors. There will be candidate-related drink specials and complimentary American-style appetizers. You can register for this FREE event here, however, if you are overly passionate about the election and think you may start fights, they ask that you please stay home!

PhotoFeast pin-up show.

Friday, November 11 at 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

This bi-annual photography pin-up show is being held at Parsons and will include students work from schools across the city. It’s a one-night event that allows photography students to showcase their work with other students outside of their own university. There will be free food and beer and some really great work to look at it.

If Bloody Marys are your favorite cocktail you this is a must-go event. A celebration of the best Bloody Marys that NYC has to offer. Sample the array of restaurants fresh made bloodies as they duke it out for the title of Best Bloody Mary. Parks and recreation trivia.

November 13 at 8:00 p.m.

Calling at Parks and Rec super fans! This trivia is necessary for any Amy Poehler fan with five rounds of challenging questions on this popular TV series! There will be a picture round, a clip round, two general rounds, and one surprise round to compete towards an array of special prize. Four people per team max!

Feminism Is Politics!   

September 28 to November 23

This exhibition, which is curated by Olga Kopenkina, features video, performance works, and art as activism pieces that address the feminist position in action to redefine the notion of ‘political’. “Feminism Is Politics! is an inquiry into what is conceptualized by feminists and queer/lesbians in the 21st century as New Feminism.” Check out the full list of included artists here.
