Bloody Good Rock Duo Royal Blood Played Webster Hall

It’s only been about a year since Royal Blood formed, but their rock music has rapidly caught on and earned them  opening slots for big name acts as well as their own packed solo shows. The duo, from Brighton, England, released their first album in August, and this week they payed New York City a visit with a performance at Webster Hall on October 16.. The British duo of bassist/singer Mike Kerr and drummer Ben Thatcher managed to sound fresh, with musical subtleties that seemed to pay homage to bands like Led Zeppelin and Queens of the Stone Age.
