Louis Vuitton is holding an exhibition displaying rare and vintage products, such as the acclaimed Supreme collaboration and ultra-rare, extremely expensive storage trunks. Admission is free, but tickets must be reserved in advance.

Feminist Poem Readings

Tuesday, Nov. 28th at 4 p.m.

Lang’s Feminist Avant-garde Poetics course, in partnership with the Belladonna* Collective, will host a night of poetry readings. Come in and listen to students read feminist works. The poems come from a variety of authors, including poet Celina Su and Jennifer Firestone, the course’s instructor. Free.

Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting

Wednesday, Nov. 29th at 7 p.m.

The Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center is being lit! It’ll be celebrated with free musical performances by the likes of Gwen Stefani and Brett Eldridge. If you’ve never seen the tree in person, now’s the time. Free.

Hosted by Mannes, this event features performances of works ranging from Renaissance artists to Mannes faculty and students. The program lasts for 90 minutes. Seating is first-come, first-served. Free.

Art/Write Workshops

Friday, Dec. 1st at 1:30 p.m.

“Art/Write” workshops give participants the chance to write inspired by art in their environment, whether that’s within The New School, or somewhere else in the city. The location changes each time, so it never fails to be a refreshing experience. Free.

Nostalgia Train Ride

Sunday, Dec. 3rd at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The holiday season is upon us and even the MTA knows it! A “nostalgia train,” kept intact from the 1930s, begins running Sundays through Christmas Eve. The ride makes round trips from the 2nd Avenue F train station in SoHo to the 96th St. Q station on the Upper East Side. $2.75 regular entry into the subway system; the nostalgia train is free of charge.
