The Moth “Only in New York”

People are asked to prepare five-minute stories about their life to share with the crowd. This week’s theme is ‘Only in New York’. Unfortunately tickets for this event are sold out but there will be 50 tickets available at the door, first come first serve.

Bryant Park Yoga

Throughout the summer free yoga classes have been held at Bryant Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays. These classes will come to an end for the season on September 22nd. The one-hour outdoor classes are offered in partnership with the lifestyle apparel brand Athleta. Walk-ins are welcome but reservations can be made on Eventbrite

The NY Art Book fair is free and open to the public and is the world’s premier event for artists books, catalogs, monographs, and zines. Last year the fair featured over 370 booksellers from twenty eight different countries. The 2015 fair was visited by over 35,000 people! The 2016 NY Art Book Fair will be featuring an array of different events and programs, such as workshops, readings, and curated conversations.

The event includes a total of 75-100 vendors of packaged and prepared foods and beverages from New York City and across the entire region. The event handles over 10,000 visitors every weekend, making it one of the most popular destinations in Brooklyn. The event is open rain or shine and partners with Brooklyn Flea to bring you an eating and shopping experience.
