Just an average Tuesday …

Lola Braun is a third-year student pursuing a major in illustration and a minor in comics. Her personal work frequently plays with abstract and nonfigurative elements, incorporating these into her traditional illustration roots through comics (and now, dabbling in 3D programs such as Blender). The driving inspirations behind her work include surrealism and spiritual abstraction alongside various manga and comic artists. Her comics are often written as everyday stories with moments of heightened, surrealist visual language.

The theme for November 2025 was ‘Slice of life.’
