The Moth StorySLAM: The Dark Side
Tues. March 15th doors open at 7PM stories begin at 7:30PM

Prepare a five-minute story or just come listen to others tell their stories about guilty pleasures, the underworld, or just being downright bad. Movies @ MoRUS series

Into social justice, environmental activism, and political reform? In other words, are you a New School student? The second screening in a series, the Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space (MoRUS) will be screening 1971, a film about how a group of political activists broke into a FBI office and exposed the unethical means of surveillance the government uses against its citizens. Each screening will be followed by a talk back and discussion.

It’s the cheapest music festival you’re most likely to ever go to! With tickets only $10, come listen to some awesome local bands and score on some awesome drink deals, like $5 Pink Baby’s at Baby’s All Right. Local DIY bands include pop/alt solo act FRAME and rock band Young Runner. It is certainly a steal for a music festival––NYC’s Annual Gov Ball’s tickets are selling for $290 at the moment.
