The Parsons Gala is an exhibition started in 2014 by the Parsons Student Senate in order to give students an opportunity to get featured at the event by submitting their best work and get together with alumni and faculty.

This year, the PSS received more than 60 submissions of student work, ranging from fashion pieces, poems, photographs and more. The deadline to submit work is now over and and about half of the submissions were accepted.

At the event, which will take place in the Tishman Auditorium, students who are showing their work will get their own curated space.

“The Parsons Gala is an incredible way for our community to celebrate some of the amazing work Parsons students are doing,” representatives from the PSS said in an email to the Free Press.

Last year’s Gala also saw a lot of interesting submissions. To give you a small glimpse into what this year’s gala might look like here are some handpicked excerpts from 2015.
