Unleash your inner New Schooler by attending the Design Studies Forum’s weekly screenings and discussions on different countries in Latin America. To kick off the series, the first film will be Elevado 3.5, a movie about life around an elevated highway in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The documentary will be followed by a discussion with the director João Sodré, and Parsons professor William Morrish. Oh, and did we mention it’s free?

Feel like painting a mural and meeting cool people, aka doing typical New York hipster things? This Sunday the Living Gallery in Brooklyn will host a painting party for a mural that will be in front of their space. Brushes will be provided but it is encouraged to bring extra.
