Vote For Your USS Senator

Published

Even though there are only  twelve days of classes left, the current USS (University Student Senate) team is far from slowing down.

Following the recent success of Dawn of Summer, The New School’s first all-night event celebrating the work, interests, and people of our community which took place May 1, the USS announced a new initiative: a Facebook group titled USS Meal Share.

“Students with surplus Dining Dollars can post the dining location, day, and time of when they plan to eat a meal, along with their contact information,” an email blast to New School students read. Because  Dining Dollars are non-refundable, the  idea is to allow those with big surpluses to help buy a meal for hungry classmates.

Also on tap this week and next: elections. A total of 54 candidates from the New School’s seven divisions are vying for senate seats. You can review 2015-2016 candidate bios here.

and vote here!

Voting ends Saturday May 9th at 11am.
