The new University Center Café is full of top notch, high-quality food. For less than $10, a marinated flank steak and roasted potatoes can be yours. Here are some of the options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desserts that the UC Cafe offers:

Chewy 72% Chocolate Chip Cookies

This cookie is massive enough to be shared between two people. This chewy treat with oversized chips requires a drink to finish it off, but at the end of your cookie journey, it’ will be well worth the $2.95.

Chocolate Fudge Brownies

These ginormous brownies are about the size of an iPhone and fudgey beyond belief. One brownie comes in at $3.25. It’s steep, but it’s a sound stomach investment.

Individual Margherita Pizza

Fresh tomatoes, salty mootz, parmesan, and basil for $4.99. A personal pizza for less than five bucks is a treat and a half. Made-to-order with a crispy, smokey crust. Good, good stuff.

California Burger

Get your napkins ready… at least four of them. Spinach, red onions, Swiss cheese, guacamole and chipotle mayo. Sheesh. Sit down, take your coat off, get a few cups of water, and take a deep breath. This is a great burger with a side of good fries. It deserves your undivided attention and respect.

Greek Salad

This salad is chock full of fresh vegetables (tomatoes, olives, red onion, cucumbers and mixed greens) and tangy crumbles of feta cheese. The balsamic vinaigrette is sweet and not too oily, making this Greek salad a refreshing choice for $6.99.

Personal Omelette

There are a few different options to choose from for your morning omelette. Going with cheddar cheese and sautéed mushrooms with a sausage on the side isn’t a bad decision. The stellar taste makes up for the simple spread.

What’s your favorite thing to eat in the cafe? If it’s not on this list, do us all a favor and let us know what we should check out.
