We’re very excited to see the Library at the University Center mentioned in The New School Free Press. I would like to make one clarification: while our collection is now 80% digital, these digital resources are not replacements for the print collection; our physical materials in our main collections are not being systematically digitized.
The coming year will be eventful for The New School Libraries and Archives. In addition to the opening of the University Center Library space, later in 2014 we will open a new library location on the 8th floor of the List Center at 6 E. 16th Street. More library space has long been a chief request amongst the New School community, and I believe you will be pleased with the results of this long-planned upgrade to our facilities.
